We’re on the hunt for a Chef de Cuisine who leads with heart, hustle, and a deep love for food that tells a story. Our kitchen is rooted in nostalgia—those after-school snacks, weekend breakfasts, and holiday table traditions—reimagined with craft, creativity, and care. We celebrate the wide lens of American cuisine and the communities, families, and regions that shape it. Were you the kid sneaking bites from the stove, asking “what’s next” before the meal was done? What You’ll Do: Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to execute our seasonal, wood-fired menu inspired by nostalgic flavors and playful presentation Lead day-to-day kitchen operations, including prep, line, expediting, and team training Supervise and support kitchen staff, ensuring consistency, professionalism, and quality across every plate Manage inventory and ordering, building relationships with local farmers and purveyors Ensure food safety compliance, cleanliness, and adherence to health standards Participate in menu development, cost control, and portioning, balancing fun with finesse Uphold our kitchen culture of respect, curiosity, and collaboration Who You Are: A chef with 3–5+ years of management experience in scratch or chef-driven kitchens Passionate about quality, flavor, and storytelling through food Strong leadership skills with the ability to teach, inspire, and delegate effectively Knowledgeable in inventory, ordering, cost control, and seasonal sourcing Quick on your feet and calm under pressure—you thrive in a fast-paced environment A creative collaborator excited to help shape our menu and cultureKnowledgeable on food allergeries and dietary restrictions, and ability to think on your toes to alter menu items on the fly Bonus points if you have a favorite boxed mac & cheese memory or a secret recipe passed down from your auntie To Apply: Send us your resume, a short note about yourself, and a food memory you can’t shake.
